You can automatically download and install the latest update via Script Studio Help > Check For Updates but if for some reason you have a connection issue that prevents this feature or you wish to download the update manually then follow the instructions below.

To check your software version number via Script Studio select Help > Customer Support.

Windows Users

  1. Close Script Studio
  2. Download the latest demo
  3. Launch the downloaded Setup File and follow its instructions to Install Script Studio
  4. Launch Script Studio
  5. If your software was already activated the demo restrictions will automatically be removed. If the software is in demo mode, select Help > Activate and enter your License Key

Mac Users

  1. Close Script Studio
  2. Copy any project files you may have saved in ~/Users/<YourUsername>/Applications/Script Studio/Projects to another location. Note: By default Script Studio saves projects and templates in your Documents folder so this step should not be necessary
  3. Drag your Script Studio Applciation Folder into the Trash and empty the trash
  4. Download the latest demo
  5. Double-click on the downloaded Disk Image (.dmg file) to mount it
  6. Drag the Script Studio Folder Icon onto the Applications Folder Icon
  7. Launch Script Studio
  8. If your software was already activated the demo restrictions will automatically be removed. If the software is in demo mode, select Help > Activate and enter your License Key
